To receive money, you must be enrolled. If you're already enrolled, you're all set--the money will be in your account, typically in minutes.*

You can send money to almost anyone you know and trust with a bank account in the U.S. We recommend that you ask your recipient to enroll with Zelle before you send them money - this will help them get your payment more quickly.

Keeping your money and information safe is a top priority for us. When you use Zelle within our mobile app, your information is protected with the same technology we use to keep your bank account safe.

ConnectOne Bank does not charge any fees to use Zelle.

It's easy -- log into your ConnectOne Bank mobile app and tap on the blue plus button, then click on Zelle®. Enter or verify your email address or U.S. mobile phone number, receive a one-time verification code, enter it, and you're finished.

To send money using Zelle, simply select your recipient from your mobile device's contacts (or add your recipient's email address or U.S. mobile number), add the amount you'd like to send, review, then hit "confirm."

If you send money to someone who isn't enrolled with Zelle, they will receive a payment notification prompting them to enroll with Zelle. After your recipient enrolls, it may take between 1 and 3 business days for your recipient to receive that payment in their bank account.

You can find a full list of participating banks and credit unions live with Zelle here.

Concerned your recipient's bank isn't listed? Don't worry! Almost anyone with a bank account in the U.S. can receive money by using the Zelle app.

No. In order to use Zelle, the recipient must be able to receive money into a U.S. bank account.

At this time, you cannot cancel a payment once it has been submitted.

If you send money to the wrong person, we recommended contacting the recipient and requesting the money back. If you aren't able to get your money back, please call us at 844-266-2548 so we can help you. (Please note that we cannot guarantee that your funds can be returned.)

Money sent with Zelle is typically available to an enrolled recipient within minutes.

If you send money to someone who isn't enrolled with Zelle, they will receive a payment notification prompting them to enroll with Zelle. After your recipient enrolls, it may take between 1 and 3 business days for your recipient to receive that payment in their bank account. Once that payment completes, that recipient will be able to receive future payments faster, typically within minutes.

If it has been more than three days, we recommend confirming that the person you sent money to has enrolled with Zelle and that you entered the right email address or U.S. mobile number.

If you're waiting to receive money, you should first check to see if you received a payment notification. If you didn't receive a payment notification, then follow up with the sender. Be sure you enrolled using the email address or U.S. mobile number your sender used to send you the money

Still having trouble? Please contact us at 844-266-2548.

Yes! They will receive a notification via email or text message.

The split feature can be used to request money from multiple people. For example, you paid $100 for dinner between you and three friends. You enter the amount of $100 in split and your three friends are sent a request for $25.

In order to enroll in Zelle through ConnectOne Bank, your mobile number or email address cannot be enrolled with another financial institution or in the Zelle app.

You can also login to your ConnectOne Bank online banking and change your email address under the 'Customer Service' tab and going to 'Manage contact information.'

You can change the mobile phone number for Zelle payments within our mobile app. If the mobile number you want to use is enrolled with a different financial institution or in the Zelle app, contact the customer support team of where you initially enrolled and ask to remove your mobile number.
